Dr. Robotnik’s Egg Pod

For the Sonic The Hedgehog movie I worked as a Set Designer on Dr. Robotnik’s sci-fi flying vehicle, the Egg Pod. While much of the vehicle's design was established in concept art before I started on this movie, I was responsible for 3D modelling the Egg Pod, further developing the design, making portions of the vehicle buildable as a set for shooting and I designed the mechanics for the articulated side engines and folding wings. The animation and images below showcase my 3D modelling and design work, which was completed using Maya and Rhinoceros 3D.
