3D experiment - 2014
These images are the result of an exploration into creating abstracted 3D volumes starting with only basic curves modelled in Rhinoceros 3D then employing tools in the Grasshopper plugin. The key to this method is the simple script I made in Grasshopper that generates a cluster of surfaces with semi-random placement and rotation around each curve to give the sense of a 3-dimensional volume. This method is used to quickly give volume and form to 3D objects and help visualize a concept at the early stages.
