Winter Transformation

This is a concept for a system of responsive shelters that could be inserted into under-utilized or vacant urban spaces. Partly inspired by the winter city of Copenhagen and its effective use of urban focal points, these shelters act as beacons and provide protection from the elements using clustering shields that descend into place when needed, creating more habitable outdoor spaces in an urban setting.
